Australia (Oceania)

Australia is a continent comprising mainland Australia, Tasmania, New Guinea, Seram, possibly Timor, and neighboring islands.  It is the smallest of the seven traditional continents.  The continent lies on a continental shelf overlain by shallow seas which divide it into several landmasses—the Arafura Sea and Torres Strait between mainland Australia and New Guinea, and Bass Strait between mainland Australia and Tasmania.

Australia serves as the starting point for the 2nd Annual Triple 7 Quest.  We begin our journey around the globe in Perth, Australia where we will run in the Australia Day Marathon & Half-Marathon, joined by local runners from a variety of running clubs.
